Subscription fatigue is real.

Running a restaurant is already expensive and stressful. The last thing an owner needs is one more monthly bill that quietly grows.

Core restaurant tools are utilities, not innovations.

POS systems have existed for decades. QR menus are now a guest expectation. Inventory tracking is arithmetic and data entry. Charging hundreds a month for it isn't fair.

AI is the only genuinely new technology in the stack.

It is also the only genuinely expensive one. So it's the only thing we ever charge for.

Is Tabres really free?

Yes. There is no monthly subscription, no annual plan, no per-branch fee, no per-employee seat cost, no transaction commission and no setup fee. Free is the product’s permanent commercial model — not a launch promotion, and not an introductory offer that expires.

So what can I ever pay for?

Extra AI credits, and only if you use them. Every business starts with 2,000 free credits. Beyond those it is pay-as-you-go top-ups at 1,000 credits per €1 — no monthly AI fee, no commitment, no contract.

What can I do with AI credits?

They pay for the AI features: translating your menu into every language you publish, so product names, descriptions and your header and footer text reach a guest in their own language, and AI-powered menu analytics. Credits are only spent when you run one of those — building the menu manually, taking orders and reading your reports never touch them.

What happens when I run out of AI credits?

The AI features pause until you top up. Everything else — POS, QR menu, kitchen display, inventory, tables, reports — keeps working exactly as before. Tabres is completely usable without ever touching an AI feature.

Is there a limit on branches, staff or menu items?

No. Unlimited branches, unlimited employees, unlimited kitchen displays, unlimited menu items and categories, and as many menu languages as your guests speak. The interface itself ships in 12 languages, including full right-to-left support.

Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. Sign-up asks for an email address and a verification code. There is no card capture anywhere in onboarding — nothing to cancel, because there is nothing to start.

Is Tabres POS available in my country?

Not everywhere. The POS resolves the applicable country when you sign in, and where it cannot be used it says so plainly: “Tabres POS is not available in your region.” The QR Menu and online ordering keep working either way. Message us and we will confirm your market before you set anything up.
