Which app should I install first?
Manager. You set up your menu, branches, tables, kitchen stations, taxes and employees there. After that the POS takes orders and the KDS shows them to the kitchen.
Do I have to install anything at all?
No. Every app works in any modern browser, on a computer, tablet or phone. Installing an app is optional. It is the same app in its own window, which is useful on a fixed register.
What does downloading cost?
Nothing. There is no fee per device, per employee or per branch. Install the apps on as many registers and screens as you need.
Do the apps work offline?
No. The POS needs an internet connection, because every order has to reach the kitchen screen and update your stock at once. If a kitchen screen loses the connection, it keeps showing the last orders and catches up on its own when it is back online.
Can I run Tabres on a tablet or a phone?
Yes. Every app works in the browser on any tablet or phone. If an app can be installed, you will find it on that app’s page above. It is the same app, the same account and the same data on every device, so a tablet on the floor works together with a fixed register and a kitchen screen.
Is Tabres available in my country?
Not everywhere. When you sign in, the POS checks your country and tells you if it cannot be used there. The QR Menu, link-in-bio and online ordering still work. Message us and we will check your country before you set anything up.
